As much as I love Jesus, I’m not going to wear my Jesus socks today. I find that if I wear my socks like everyone else, I will draw more negative attention to myself than the Jesus clothing itself. I believe that the Christian faith promotes a positive image of Jesus and that wearing your socks to church or on your way to work would only detract from the image of Christ. If you are going to be wearing a cross to church or work, why not just wear a plain white t-shirt?
Wear what makes you comfortable! Wearing something is always easy when you are comfortable. If you are not sure about the Jesus socks that you want to wear, you could always order your own Jesus socks online and have them delivered right to your door. If you are Christian and cannot afford to go out and purchase your own socks, there are many Christian companies that manufacture socks for people of all religions. They even offer them in different colors and styles, so you would not have a hard time finding one to match your personality. Some companies even offer free shipping for those that spend a certain amount and choose to have their socks shipped to them.
I can not say I love the Christian faith, but I do recognize that it promotes a positive image of Christ. The reason I state this is not because I believe Christ would hate me, but because I love you all. So, if you hate Christ, you can suck it up or leave Christianity all together, but you should keep in mind that wearing a cross is not only a symbol of faith, but of fashion as well! Wearing your socks with a Christian motif will only help you to get closer to God while showing everyone that you are not afraid of who you are – Jesus is equal to all men.
